The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez today signed the renewal of two collaboration agreements, one with the Association for Project Abraham collection of clothes, shoes and toys, and one with Reboot for the recovery of electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators , in the town of San Javier.
The signing of the agreements, held in the city of San Javier, attended by the Councillor for the Environment San Javier, Antonio Luengo, Nuria García representing Abraham Project and Carmen Martinez, representative of Restarts.
Juan Martinez stressed that the reuse and recovery of waste is the purpose of the two agreements renewed today that stood in the field of Strategic Regional Waste Plan.
The mayor of MedioAmbiente, Antonio Luengo remarked involving both the City of San Javier and the citizens of the municipality in the recycling of urban waste, as demonstrated by the renewal of such agreements focused on specific residues.
Antonio Luengo recalled that collaboration with Abraham Project dates back to ten years ago with results as 50,000 kilos of clothes collected in 2013, as announced by Nuria Garcia, the 31 containers that were renovated and expanded last summer.
