San Javier library yesterday exposed a set of photographs that capture much of its 40-year history.
The anniversary of the library that is four decades and is celebrated this year, pays particular tribute to all those who contributed from different sectors to the implementation of the library as well as users who have grown their long history.
Political, technical and users are in these pictures you can see, grouped in years, hung from the windows of one of the rooms on the ground floor of the building.
Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García yesterday inaugurated the exhibition with Toni Diaz, coordinator of libraries, announced the opening of a blog where many other digital images are part of the history of the library should be attached.
The photographs will remain on display until end of the year, while other events commemorating the 40th anniversary is celebrated as the "Make Your Mark", in which memories of the library are requested.
There will also be a special recognition of "pioneers" and a macro party's 40th anniversary with a marathon of activities and surprises at the Centre, on 24 October.
