The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez has decreed three days of mourning and suspension of institutional events, from Friday 16 January to Sunday 18 January, by the death of the former mayor Josefa García Hernández, who died this morning.
Also the flags flying at half mast in all municipal buildings as a sign of mourning for the death of what was socialist mayor of the City of San Javier between 2007 and 2011.
Juan Martinez stressed delivery, and absolute dedication of Josefa Garcia during the stage who chaired the Mayor of the City of San Javier.
The mayor of San Javier also stressed that Josefa Garcia was always a committed mayor with its neighbors, demanding and brave, which focused its efforts on always seek the best for their municipality and its neighbors, so it deserves our appreciation and thanks .
Juan Martinez also moves the solidarity of the City of San Javier in the sense of loss, in a special way to his family as well as the socialist municipal group, in which Josefa Garcia remained a councilor until June 2014.
