A "geometric utopia" that allows multiple interpretations, signed by Josechu, is the new image of young art festival "Imagine 2015" to be held for 5 days from 22 to 26 April, organized by the Department of Youth City Council San Javier.
Youth Councillor, Estíbaliz Masegosa and artistic director of Imagine, Alberto Garcia presented the new lineup of the festival together with the publication of the catalog of last year "that allows us remember and return to enjoy participating works," said Estíbaliz Masegosa .
The catalog, which is now available on the Department of Youth, collect the 24 projects that shaped the festival last year with hundreds of photographs and a description of each.
The mayor of Youth welcomed their participation to all artists who individually or collectively "helped us imagine another reality with his works".
The balance of last year resulting in a new edition in which as advanced the artistic director of the festival, Alberto García is working to include cooking and gastronomy and its integration in art, in a program which as usual will cover all artistic disciplines, and to assess the originality and innovation of the proposals.
Estíbaliz Masegosa and Alberto Garcia also announced the opening of the deadline for submission of new projects ahead of Imagine 2015, which will remain open until March 20.
Projects will be free, individual or collective subject, and single or multidisciplinary discipline.
Assess the artistic quality, material and economic feasibility, suitability for public spaces available, and multidisciplinary, innovative and original character.
Fulfilling another of its objectives, Imagina, will remain a bond between artist and audience, bringing the work to a number of open spaces as places of Spain, Cross, Master, Almansa park auditorium, Esplanade Barnuevo and Paseo Colon.
In confined spaces will use the Town Hall, multipurpose building and the Municipal Museum.
