The City of San Javier is using a pioneering technique in the field of insect and pest control through a novel system that involves the application of insecticidal paint wells sewage through special deflectors backpacks.
The company doing the municipal campaigns decontamination, Company Treatments Levante, CTL, is responsible for the implementation of this innovative treatment that has already proved very effective, and is characterized by low toxicity and long persistence over a period approximately 7 months.
The Utilities Councilman Jose Miguel Luengo said the implementation of this system has improved the efficiency to combat occasional incidents that detect the neighbors and the general prevention.
Luengo appreciated the incorporation of this system "that puts San Javier at the forefront of pioneering application systems in order to improve the quality of life for residents in the municipality."
The paint used in this treatment is the same that is giving excellent results in Latin and Africa in combating insect such as malaria, dengue and Chagas transmitted diseases because it is a safe insecticide for people which is applied on the walls of the houses from which slowly releases its chemical components.
