San Javier welcomed on Friday a long day organized by ANSE on the Mar Menor in the project that develops the Southeastern Association of Naturalists, "Actions of conservation and restoration of habitats and rare species of Mar Menor and its environment".
This is an initiative that has the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment through the Biodiversity Foundation.
The Town Planning and Environment of San Javier, Antonio Luengo was the host of the conference that opened along with the deputy director of the Natural Environment Directorate General Environment Inmaculada Ramirez and ANSE director, Pedro Garcia who praised the progress in recent years administrations Environment and the relationships established with organizations such as Anse.
About fifty people from research, administration, agriculture, business and others interested in the subject, attended the meeting in the auditorium of the Department of Youth, which lasted until mid-afternoon with different papers which main objective was to disseminate advances in the understanding and conservation of natural values ​​of the Mar Menor and its environment.
Both Luengo, Inmaculada García Pedro Ramirez and agreed to the value of these sessions around a topic of great interest to all parties as advancing conservation of Mar Menor.
Luengo intervened in the day defending the town and country planning del Mar Menor from the councils as an appropriate security instrument in preserving warned other difficulties such as those that may occur in specific areas such as La Manga with previous plans that hamper the proceedings on certain areas whose owners have acquired legal rights.
