The parliamentary group has proposed, through a motion passed today in the Regional Assembly, a cleanup plan and recovery of the natural landscape of the beach of La Hita, located between the towns of Los Alcazares and San Javier, as explained by the regional deputy, José Miguel Luengo, who considers "necessary action in this area that, in recent years, is suffering a progressive deterioration" .The Hita is classified as a natural area of ​​high landscape value and is used for long periods of the year for large number of migratory birds that take advantage of the abundance of reeds for nesting.
Furthermore, it is frequented by tourists and locals who come to this place biking, walking or running.
"Are those users who have been observing in recent years a progressive deterioration of this area and the increase of crime and antisocial behaviors that hinder the possibility amenities at this fabulous place", has materialized Luengo, while it has advocated the development of a plan for cleaning and recovery of natural areas and the study of the potential limitations to vehicle traffic.
The motion also includes the implementation of a monitoring plan against crime.
The debate was attended by representatives of municipalities of San Javier and Los Alcazares, including the mayor of this town, Anastasio Bastida.
