The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez and the Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García thanked the Director of Business Area "la Caixa" in San Javier, Carlos Merelo Fos support the "la Caixa" has been given to festivals municipal, during a meeting in the City of San Javier.
The Social Work of "la Caixa", who has been supporting the International Jazz Festival, has joined in this edition the Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance, contributing two assists worth 6,000 euros each for the promotion and development of Culture through two festivals whose quality and significance highlighted the entity responsible for saving.
Both the mayor and the mayor of Culture and director of the Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance, Inmaculada García stressed the importance of this type of aid from the sponsoring companies for local festivals and in particular the rapid and enthusiastic response of Social Work " la Caixa ".
The representative of the entity, Carlos Merelo stressed that the main rationale of "la Caixa" is your Social Work, the first private foundation in Spain and one of the largest in the world in 2015, for the eighth year revert to the company 500 million euros, of which 13.4 percent (67millones) is allocated to cultural section, in which San Javier festivals are located.
