The Department of Equality has revived awareness campaign among schoolchildren in the municipality on disability with two days in schools through which children approach the problematic living people with visual, physical or mental disability.
With the collaboration of organizations like ONCE, Fesormu, Fundamifp, AFEM, Aidemar and Parafarmacio Los Arcos, children may experience difficulties every day exceeds the disabled, increasing their understanding of a situation to consider when working the Equality.
The first day was held at the school "Fulgencio Ruiz" Santiago de la Ribera, Earl school were going through four zones, or circuits.
The first, organized by the ONCE, the children experienced the difficulties of people with little or no vision.
At the hearing, personal area Fesormu, introduced children in sign language, among other activities.
The driving area organized by Fundamifp and Pharmaceuticals Los Arcos, includes a circuit that can experience varying degrees lack of physical autonomy.
Finally, Afemar and Aidemar, showing children that much development work with people with either mental illness or with different types of mental disabilities.
Councillor for Equality, Estíbaliz Masegosa stressed the importance and effectiveness of this initiative held in recent years in schools in the municipality because children have the opportunity to listen to specialists who make them experience and understand the effort required for a person trying to be like the rest disability.
The next conference will be held at school "La Paz" in San Javier on Monday 11 May.
