The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez has signed with Facundo Sanchez, president of Local Youth Council, and Salvador Carrasco, president of "Songs and Dances Mar Menor" group, San Javier, the renovation of two cooperation agreements between the City of San Javier and the aforementioned entities which receive 8,000 and 3,000 euros respectively.
Juan Martinez explained that the Council of Youth "the highest representative body between youth associations in the municipality" is committed through the agreement signed today to present a work plan in which activities of advice, guidance, promotion of associations are included , lifelong learning, aimed at young people, in addition to serving as an interlocutor with the City Council through the Department of Youth.
The group of "Songs and Dances Mar Menor" San Javier will receive 3,000 euros with the renewal of the agreement which aims to support the cultural activities carried out by the training that takes almost 50 years in business.
Juan Martinez said his role in organizing the Folklore Festival held every year in San Javier, and his constant presence at festivals and events held in the city recreating the traditions and folklore Murcia.
Facundo Sanchez thanked the support received for years through this agreement, "even when other governments suppressed this type of support."
Sanchez defended the need for the authorities "are next to non-profit associations working to improve society".
The Estacio Xtrem and labor camps in Navarra are two annual events of the Local Council will soon announce other activities for the summer.
The chairman of "Songs and Dances Mar Menor", Carrasco thanked Salvador also help "allows us to continue doing activities and going where requested our presence."
