Every action counts, said today the mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez in relation to environmental stewardship while reading the manifesto Municipal World Environment Day has been celebrated with an ecological and craft market in the square of Spain .
The objective of this action as well as other scheduled throughout the week until Sunday, activities is to draw attention of society on environmental issues and the need to transform and improve our natural environment, said the Mayor.
Juan Martinez praised the work of the Department of Environment in their support for the social awareness of the need to protect our immediate environment also from the daily habits in relation to recycling or ecological culture, among others.
The Town Planning, Agriculture and Environment, Antonio Luengo emphasized the need to protect the natural environment from both administrative policies and from the individual level.
Luengo said the success of participation and social response to activities held throughout the week.
This afternoon at 20:00 the exhibition opens contest prizes and nature photography "By sea, by land and air" are delivered in the hall of the City of San Javier.
Saturday morning will be the smaller, day nurseries Santiago de la Ribera and El Mirador which together with teachers and family enjoy environmental activities on the beach Barnuevo.
On Sunday, the Posidonia will star in activity snorkel on the beach next to the sports center.
