Double routes and new containers to reinforce the Urban Cleaning Services and Waste Collection (25/06/2015)

La Manga will have three routes to avoid the accumulation of garbage by the arrival of tourists

The summer tourism campaign in San Javier includes a general strengthening in the Municipal Urban Cleaning Service and waste collection to meet the demands of population growth that occurs in the coastal towns with the arrival of temporary residents and tourists.

According to the mayor, José Miguel Luengo, "at this time a very important means and personnel reinforcement for the first time is scheduled and included in the new general contract for street cleaning occurs, which ensures continuity and better coordination in this reinforcement whose goal is to have a cleaner city ".

A 1,180 containers that were distributed to all districts and housing estates last autumn, with the launch of the new service 'Pass clean' served by the company FCC, this summer more will follow in the areas of greatest urban concentration coast, especially in La Manga and Santiago de la Ribera.

Limpeza extra on the beaches until September 30

As for the cleaning of beaches, the City of San Javier has just signed a contract with Indepro, San Javier, to reinforce the cleaning of beaches during the summer, which will be operational until 30 September.

This special service will operate on the beaches of Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga between 6 am and 11.30 am, and from 16 to 18 hours.
