The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo attended today invited by Colonel Director General Air Academy, Juan Pablo Sanchez de Lara, to the closing and awards ceremony of the 50 Military Aeronautical Pentathlon Championship which was held on the premises military from 22 to 26 June.
The trophy ceremony was held at the sports facilities of the Academy chaired by Lieutenant General Chief of Staff Command of the Air Force, Pedro Jose Abad Gimeno, military authorities and all participants in the Pentathlon and students of the AGA.
The Pentathlon, the sporting event par excellence of the Air Force, is organized by the Central Board of Physical Education and Sports of the Air Force and is on the calendar of activities for 2015 of the Higher Council of Physical Education and Sports of the FAS.
The sporting event hosts six sports as an air test, shooting, swimming, fencing, try ball evasion, one of the toughest tests including an obstacle course followed by a competition Guidance.
Military Pentathlon, which is practiced in Spain of the 60 was originally created as a sports training particularly suited for pilot training
