The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo yesterday received in his office the new president of Assembly Mar Menor North Red Cross, José Cortés, with whom I had a meeting in which the heads of both institutions expressed their willingness to continue to cooperate closely.
José Cortés who is replacing Fernando Carrasco informed the mayor of San Javier their willingness to launch an office in San Javier Mar Menor the North of the Red Cross Assembly, whose headquarters are located in the neighboring municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar.
Luengo opportunity to congratulate and wish the best of luck in his new term as president of Red Cross Northern Mar Menor "because the success of Red Cross is all" and reiterated their commitment to maintain and where possible improve, the agreement economic partnership that the City of San Javier maintains for years with the Red Cross.
Luengo thanked and praised the work done by the Red Cross in the region to provide assistance when it is needed, as well as movement and volunteer training both in emergencies and in other care needs.
