The San Javier Theatre Group launches the most ambitious project in its history, an adaptation of the masterpiece by Calderon de la Barca, "Mayor of Zalamea" by José Antonio Navas who also directs the assembly with 29 actors and 11 musicians on the scene.
The show, co-produced by the Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance in San Javier, focuses on the excitement of the dialogues written by Calderon de la Barca, accented by original music composed Antonio Baeza and musicians who perform at the Conservatory of San Javier, in collaboration with Curro Piñana to sing live.
The story recounts the drama lived in the town of Zalamea de la Serena to move troops during the war with Portugal.
