The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia, thanks to the cooperation of citizens, has seized a flare maritime signaling, found in the street of San Javier has finally been removed and destroyed immediately.

Last Wednesday, July 26, a resident of San Javier Meritorious informed that, while he was trimming trees on a street in San Javier, found a rocket unused.

Using all possible security measures, the Civil Guards seized the device and transferred to a safe place to avoid greater evils.

Then they informed the Group EOD (GEDEX) of the Region of Murcia.

The GEDEX troops after a series of checks during yesterday morning removed the device and proceeded to its destruction in a security zone enabled for this purpose.

Any kind of manipulation could lead to fatal consequences.

The Civil Guard has resolved cases in which citizens locating old explosive devices, move them to their homes, as a decorative object, which carries a high risk to themselves and their families and neighbors, so we recommend you follow security protocol previously exposed.
