From mid-afternoon the center of San Javier was filled with music and dances of Andalusia, Extremadura, Valencia and Murcia, from where the invited groups.
All groups marched through the Spanish Aviation Avenue to the Plaza of Spain where they were welcomed by the mayor, José Miguel Luengo, and the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez.
After an exchange of gifts they made a small folk shows.
The auditorium of Almansa park hosted at 22: 00h Meeting Gala with performances of song and dance group from San Javier Mar Menor;
Virgen del Rosario Peña, Caceres;
Association Lola Torres, Jaen;
Peña El Millar, Castellon de la Plana and orchard Peña El Quince, Murcia.
The National Meeting of Folklore organized by the host group, Songs and Dances Mar Menor of San Javier and the Department of Culture of the City of San Javier, annually attracts a large audience, with great assistance of foreign tourists who enjoy a sample of rich and varied folklore from different parts of Spain.
Also here the meeting also serves to connect formations Dedicated to the recovery and maintenance of popular folklore.
