The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo today received in his office the Honorary Consul of Lithuania in the region of Murcia and president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Lithuania, Andrés Fornés Redondo who had expressed his intention to initiate trade relations between Lithuania and San Javier, particularly in the agricultural sector.
The Mayor thanked the interest of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Lithuania by the local agricultural sector, which already has extensive export experience and invited the chairman to attend a meeting soon to remain with local entrepreneurs attending the Fair Sector International Fruits and Vegetables "Fruit Attraction", held in Madrid later this month, to provide a first contact with the sector.
After the meeting, institutional, Honorary Consul of Lithuania, Andrés Fornés Redondo gave the mayor two books on the history of trade relations between both countries.
