The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and Town Planning, Environment and Agriculture, Antonio Luengo and Tourism, Trade and Employment, Antonio Martinez met this morning in Murcia with the Minister of Water, Agriculture and Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache with which addressed various issues of importance to the municipality in which his department is competent.
After the meeting, the Mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo welcomed the interest shown by the Minister who promised to visit next week, San Javier and in particular the Agricultural Demonstration Center and Transfer of El Mirador, It will be extended by the Autonomous Region of Murcia thanks to a solar loan from the City of San Javier.
Among the topics covered the land-use planning was the commitment of the minister to expedite the mandatory report of his department in the course of its administrative procedures.
Municipal officials also transferred to the municipal councilor interest in restoring the weir of the Ventorrilo, and recovery and enhancement of the island Perdiguera.
The Minister appreciated the efforts made by the City of San Javier on the management of moorings beaches adrift in addressing one of the important issues for the government team: the management of boats, pontoons and permits nautical base Atalayón in Santiago de la Ribera.
The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo appreciated the meeting with the Minister of Water, Agriculture and Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, and noted the efforts made to protect the Mar Menor from the Regional Government has already built two tanks storm in the municipality to which a third will be added in the Francisco Franco Avenue, Santiago de la Ribera.
Luengo added that "we must work to support the maximum protection of the lagoon to energize and boost tourism in the area."
