The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo has met with owners of the hospitality of Santiago de la Ribera to those convened to assess the impact of the event on 30th anniversary of the Eagle Patrol sector, which was held on 17 and 18 October, and "see first hand their views and suggestions over the next events continue to be held in the town".
After the meeting, which was also attended by Councillor for Commerce and Employment, Antonio Martinez, the mayor, José Miguel Luengo said the hoteliers had been very paticipativos, contributing several ideas and reaching several commitments on both sides and push arteries and major commercial street as Munoz and Sandoval Avenue.
During the meeting held at City Hall, in the City of San Javier, hoteliers called for the creation of winter beaches in Santiago de la Ribera be studied by windproof panels.
It was also agreed to optimize communication between the departments of Commerce and Tourism and the hospitality and commercial sector to events taking place in the town.
It was also agreed to form a working group in which are represented the heads of shops and catering establishments, along with the city, through Sports, Celebrations, and Police, among other departments, "to address practical issues, such as locations and most appropriate routes to the events taking place and will continue organizing in Santiago de la Ribera and those who struggle to bring people out of season, said the mayor, José Miguel Luengo ".
