The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo and the Councillor for Agriculture, Antonio Luengo received the representatives of the six companies in the horticultural sector of the municipality who will attend the Fruit Attraction Fair, the International Fair of fruit and vegetables industry today that is held in Madrid from 28 to 30 October.
The meeting, which was held at City Hall, attended by representatives of Mercagrisa, Hortamira, The Dulze, SAT San Cayetano, Grupo Caliche, and Coliplant Viveros.
The mayor congratulated the companies involved for the effort "to be always in the forefront of the industry," noting the presence of six local companies representing a broad sector of producers, and those who come individually, in one of the most important fairs in the fresh sector they attend 1,000 companies from 22 countries.
Both the mayor, José Miguel Luengo as the Councillor for Agriculture, Antonio Luengo, who will support local businesses with their presence at the Fair on October 29 stressed also the investment policy of the horticultural sector in the municipality with a continuous bet by modernization and job creation.
Entrepreneurs who, during the meeting, expressed concern about the shortage of water that are in production, valued the municipal interest by the Agricultural sector also considered worthy as the tourist, the institutional commitment.
