The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and several members of the municipal corporation attended the ceremony today that the General Air Academy dedicates each year to mark the Memorial Day for the homeland, to the memory of deceased military AGA on duty whose remains rest in the cemetery of San Javier.
Colonel General Air Academy, Pablo Lara Sanchez presided over the ceremony in which the flag of Spain flew at half mast in mourning for the three soldiers recently killed in a helicopter of the Air Force.
The chaplain, D. Vicente Luis Moragues officiated dirge in which the dead soldiers of the Air Force and the Armed Forces was recalled, after offering a laurel wreath on the cross who chairs the military compound, within the cemetery of San Javier.
The Band of the AGA played the hymn "Death is not the end," and the anthem of the Air Force to conclude a ceremony attended by a squad of students and a representation of the Ladies of Loreto, between other attendees.
