The 114 new students in the General Air Academy today visited the City of San Javier where they were received in the hall by the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and part of the municipal corporation.
The students were accompanied by Colonel director of the AGA, Juan Pablo Sanchez de Lara, teachers and the chaplain of the Academy in which he is his first official visit since coming to military center, where they completed between one and five years of their military training.
A total of 65 students, of which there are 7 women and one Thai student, make up 71 promotion of General Air Academy, who will turn 5 years of military training in San Javier.
The rest, of different specialties, go 1 or 2 years at the AGA.
The visit began with the training of students in the square of Spain before entering the hall where the mayor, José Miguel Luengo declared them to new students of the AGA, from different parts of Spain as residents of San Javier after a brief presentation of the municipality in which he made a historic journey to the present.
Colonel AGA director, Juan Pablo Sanchez de Lara said the "symbiosis" between the military institution and the municipality of San Javier "historically intertwined."
The colonel thanked the support of the City to the AGA and reminded the new students that San Javier will be forever linked to his military career.
The official reception at City Hall ended with an exchange of gifts that starred in the Academy students no.1 promotion.
The visit continued with a floral offering to the patron of the village in the neighboring church of San Francisco Javier whose assets could admire cultural visit at a later continued by the Museum of San Javier and facilities of the municipal sports center from where they returned to the Academy.
