The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo met this morning with the Minister of Health Encarna Guillen to which he requested to be included as soon as possible to the University hospital Los Arcos del Mar Menor between hospitals that allow parents to enroll newborns without having to go to the Civil Registry, under the recent law on administrative reform measures.
At the meeting, held in the city of San Javier in the early hours of this morning, attended by the mayor of Health, Catalina Perez and other councilors of the government team, other issues of municipal interest addressed in health as the Doctor's Office of Santiago de la Ribera and the incorporation of new services such as gynecology that will be launched soon in that office, among others.
The Minister of Health, Encarna Guillen also stressed the importance of prevention policies on Health, and the importance of collaboration between both institutions to promote this type of action to improve the overall health of citizens and reduce chronic disease.
After the meeting, the mayor and the minister, by the mayor of Sports, Carlos Albaladejo and other council members shared a breakfast with the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science of the University of Murcia in San Javier, Arturo Diaz, with whom they discussed the participation Faculty in such programs must combine sport and health and that are intended to drive in the city.
