The City of San Javier has launched a pioneering program helps top athletes of the town has been called "Citius, Altius, Fortius" through which support will be provided from different areas to local high performance athletes or they are certified as sports promises.

The champion swimmer, Carmen San Nicholas, all international Paralympic athlete, Lorenzo Albaladejo, billiards champion, Juan David Zapata, and young cyclists, Salvador Pardo and Alvaro Madrid, and Jesus Fernandez, who compete nationally, thanked the City Council the implementation of this project "for helping us achieve our dreams" and expressed his "pride of representing San Javier" in national and international competitions, said San Nicolas.
The mayor of Sports, Carlos Albaladejo said that through the program presented today, "young people who have left the sport base our town and already flying high", will benefit from municipal grants, gratuity and accommodation schedule for use of sports facilities municipal, biomedical monitoring with medical equipment PDM, counseling with a tutor program PDM, and direct when looking for sponsors among companies in the municipality, among other things help.
