The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo and the president of the Red Cross Association Mar Menor North, Jose Cortes signed the renewal of a collaboration agreement between the two institutions through which the City provides 5,000 euros to the regional grouping of this humanitarian institution.
Luengo emphasized "the great work many years develops Mar Menor North Red Cross and our town benefits when necessary".
The mayor recalled that both in emergencies and in other care needs the Red Cross presence is guaranteed, in addition to the development work in training, prevention and volunteerism.
Through the agreement signed on Wednesday 25 November in the city of San Javier, Red Cross is committed to continuing its work in public service activities as prevention services in public events, training services and social participation through volunteering , among others.
