The Local Government Board at its last meeting approved an expenditure of 17,483 euros to buy 12 surveillance cameras to monitor entrances and municipal facilities inside the park Almansa San Javier to improve security around the premises, Security Councilwoman Teresa Foncuberta reported.
Closed surveillance system that will be installed soon agreed at the Local Security Board held last summer in the neighborhood concern demands for greater security in that park in the center of San Javier was raised.
Following the agreement of the Local Security Board procedures for obtaining the permits of the Government Office in order to proceed with the purchase and installation with the aim of responding to citizens and improve safety they were initiated in a emblematic location of the municipality, explained Teresa Foncuberta.
