"Not a single child without toys" is the motto of the third charity tournament organized by the club Paddle "Padel Only" a group of regular players who for three years takes advantage of the Christmas season for a charity campaign that aims to buying toys for distribution in collaboration with Caritas Santiago de la Ribera.
The mayor, José Miguel Luengo and Council of Sports, Carlos Albaladejo and Social Services, Estíbaliz Masegosa it supported today the initiative group "Paddle only" during the presentation of the campaign, one of the tennis Villaescusa Sport, which meets the organizing group, and where it has called to participate in this initiative, which has a row 0, and with the collaboration of township enterprises with financial contributions.
José Miguel Luengo emphasized the importance of this kind of solidarity actions for the benefit of the community "and deserve our support and recognition."
Last year 130 toys were purchased and this year is expected to exceed that figure.
Eroski collaborates with the campaign through a significant discount on the purchase of toys that allows organizers to increase the number of toys to go around.
Entries in the tournament, to be held from 14 to 20 December, will involve 20 euros per participant, to which contributions from all companies are encouraged to participate as well as individuals through the 0th row sum.
With the money the purchase is made available this year has been organized by the Department of Social Services and Caritas to "tune" in buying toys necessary, by sex and age to meet the actual demand of children who They will benefit from the campaign.
The distribution is organized by Caritas, with the help of young people from the parish of Santiago de la Ribera organizes a party in early January for the distribution of toys in hand.
