More than 250 bobbin lace makers inside and outside the Region of Murcia will meet on Sunday 13 December in the tent city on the occasion of the 12th edition of the meeting organized by the Association of San Javier Encajeras "Abomar" and Department of Culture and Arts of the City of San Javier.
Breakfast will welcome the participants, among which each year sees more men in the tent of Almansa park opens to the public at 11: 00h after the official opening of the meeting.
The public can see up close and admire the process of developing different laces that can be made with the roll.
The lace harness the meeting to share their knowledge and skills, learn from each other, and to buy the latest roll in the market of specific material that traditionally accompanies this appointment.
At the same time, the lobby of City Hall will host an exhibition of works and finishes that have been made by the lace of San Javier, who serve as host meetings in one of the most traditional in the region.
The exhibition will be open from 09:30 to 13: 30h.
The day will end with a meal of coexistence among all participants.
