Santiago de la Ribera is prepared to live an intense weekend of Carnival farewell with the great parade on Sunday February 14 with the participation of more than 2,500 people from a total of 50 extras.
The parade will leave at 16:00 from the esplanade Barnuevo has a wide representation of the best regional troupes as thirty participating groups come from outside the city opting for the three prizes awarded by the local commission between the visiting troupes .
Local troupes will open the parade through the streets Sandoval, through the center of Santiago de la Ribera, and avenues Mar Menor and Spanish Aviation, ending at the roundabout next to the local police headquarters in San Javier.
A shuttle will return to participants who complete the parade to the carnival tent in Santiago de la Ribera where new this year a little fault with the seahorse that identifies the carnival of Santiago de la Ribera will light.
As usual, before closing the program of events, the groups meet in a day together on Saturday morning on the esplanade Barnuevo before enjoying a feast of popular carnival, at 23:00 in the tent in which the public unleashes the imagination to dress up prizes for the best individual category or group.
