Some 150 artisans from the region of Murcia involved in the exhibition "Centennial Salzillo III, Universal Murciano," with the Guild of Handicraft Various Regional honors "the most universal Murcia craftsman."
The exhibition is open until August 15 in downtown Prince of Asturias ", in Santiago de la Ribera presents a wide selection of 300 works composed, and shows a huge variety of reasons related to Salzillo, most taken from his work.
The artisans have interpreted the figure of the famous carver Murcia, Francisco Salzillo, which last year was the tercentenary of his birth, with hand made works including painting, all styles, sculpture, stained glass, ceramics, wood and wood burning leather, silk painting, embossed tin, leather, cribs, and even cross-stitch.
The Councillor for Tourism, Jesus Montesinos, the village headman, José drapes, and the president of the Guild of Handicraft Regional Multiple, José María Gómez Toro opened yesterday the exhibition will be open from 10 to 13.30
and 15 to 20hours in July, and until 21.00h.

Montesinos invited residents and visitors to enjoy Salzillo through the exhibition as a tourist attraction.
Gómez Toro explained that the exhibition was shown in different parts of the Region, and travel to Portugal in September.
The exhibition will be closed in 2010 in Santa Maria Capua Venera, Naples, Italy, birthplace of father housed.
