The Plaza of Spain, San Javier has hosted an exhibition of outdoor sculptures, the artist from Cartagena, Juan José Quirós, which you can enjoy up to 31 August.
The exhibition consists of a total of 25 small sculptures in bronze and terracotta showing the two sides of the prestigious classically trained sculptor, with a section on religious themes, and a more free, that the artist feels like "more Quirós "in the incident in the figurative but distanced from the classical parameters, and imagery.
In one and the other, the artist tries to reach the public, placing his work close of the beholder "and that dialogue and talk to him," as Juan José Quirós said last night at the opening of the exhibition, "in which a now the most important is the relationship you establish with the public. "
The inauguration, attended by many friends and the public in a ceremony presided by the mayor, Pepa García and much of the municipal corporation.

The exhibition will remain permanently in the Plaza of Spain until July 31.
