Given the concern expressed by some residents of La Manga, gathered today for a regional media, about traffic jams caused by the scheduled opening Estacio bridge for the passage of vessels, which also show concern about the operation emergency services in La Manga del Mar Menor in the area for the municipality of San Javier, the City states:
1 - There is an absolute co-ordination between emergency services and civil protection and operators of the bridge, which guarantees the way to emergency vehicles when necessary, delaying or canceling the operations of opening and closing of the bridge when they produce these contingency priority at all times the road against the passage of vessels.
Also this season has enabled a pier in the northern part of Estacio to enable faster transfer of patients to hospitals in the mainland by a civil protection vessel.
2 - There is no record at City Hall or the city service, or civil protection services (112) of any impact in relation to the ambulance logbook information indicates that he was paralyzed in that bridge.
It is possible that the ambulance was out of service or to conduct a transfer is not a priority, in any event the City is not aware that such a problem has occurred on the date indicated in the information.
3 - The City regrets the inconvenience caused to users operations opening and closing the bridge, especially in the summer season, but we feel good for the Mar Menor and the region to allow the passage to the lagoon through the infrastructure to the boats, so wish and if they are not perhaps provide this opportunity to go away to other destinations, resulting in damage to the tourism industry in the area.
4 - Finally, as a result of our concern for public services to the citizens of this area have increased medical transport allocations over past seasons, as described below:
