Antonio Lopez Martinez who was pastor of San Javier for over 25 years.
Throughout his career as a pastor in San Javier continued his personal involvement with the municipality and a high degree of commitment to local society than through its highest institutional representation, the City Council, thanked him for his surrender with the distinction of Son Silver Medal and the town of San Javier, coinciding with its silver anniversary in the town in 1992.
The mayor of San Javier Pepa García has expressed on behalf of the Municipal Corporation and all residents of San Javier "our heartfelt condolences to the family of Don Antonio, and our public recognition to which he was pastor of San Javier for 25 years.
A very appreciated and loved by the residents of San Javier for their commitment, dedication and love for this county, so often demonstrated and which have seen several generations of our people, which will always be remembered with admiration and affection. "
Natural Ribera de Molina, Molina de Segura (Murcia), was ordained in 1950.
Don Antonio Lopez Martinez arrived in San Javier in 1967, from Patiño, Murcia.
