The Governing Council has given approval to an agreement between the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration and the Association for the integration of disabled persons in the region of the Mar Menor (Aideman) for the construction of the second phase of a center Early care in the municipality of San Javier.
The association will receive 150,000 euros from the Ministry and will provide 57,659 euros in capital, bringing the total project amount 207,659 euros.
The new facility will be located in Neptune Street, corner of Walnut Street, municipality of San Javier, and are aimed at providing services to children under six living in the region of the Mar Menor and have disabilities or are likely to have it in the future.
The center, whose construction will invest 797,106 euros, will have a floor area of 928 square meters and is located on land donated by the City of San Javier.
The Autonomous Community has already financed the first phase of the project, with a contribution of 150,000 euros in 2008, in addition to 53,044 euros from Aideman.
