A man aged 69 died yesterday afternoon while bathing in the beach of El Pedrucho, La Manga del Mar Menor, where he was found floating by an individual who at 20:50 pm
warned of their presence to the police through the emergency number 112.
The man who was found on the beach by his own wife responds to the initial ABZ and lived in one of the buildings near the area where it was found.
Effective San Javier Local Police, Guardia Civil, Maritime Rescue and Civil Protection of San Javier, who were responsible for rescuing the body of water, appeared at the scene where he was identified by his wife, who approached the shore near his home, alerted by the presence of police.
The body was taken to the Forensic Anatomical Institute of Cartagena to perform the autopsy.
