The beaches of La Manga will host from 3 to 30 August, the campaign "wrack and sand between two stools" which launched the council of the Environment of the City of San Javier, "aimed to inform and educate the public about the need to conserve natural resources such as La Manga sand and seagrass, revealing the diversity of sand left in the area, and the importance of Posidonia as curator of beaches and associated species, as explained the mayor of the Environment, José Luis Espinosa.
The campaign has the support of the Cluster Foundation for the protection and conservation of the Mar Menor, and the Southeastern Association of Naturalists, ANSE, will develop a traveling exhibition on all the beaches of La Manga and will consist of opening a direct information about citizens will open from 10:30 to 13:30, and conducting games and workshops for children led by ecoinformadores, at the same point of information, in the afternoon from 17:30 to 20 : 30h.
Espinosa explained that another of the activities under this campaign, is the visit by boat, both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean pastures in order to look at both sides of La Manga and see that they are preserved.

Also during the duration of the campaign, and in collaboration with several hotels, will expose the sample "Dunes, a sea of sand", which was exhibited in San Javier on the occasion of Environment Day, and now will be at different hotels in La Manga can be visited by locals and tourists.
The exhibition shows graphically the evolution of La Manga and its beaches, its current conservation status of flora and fauna, can be seen from 3 to 9 August at the London hotel, 10 to 16 in the Doblemar, from 17 to Mangalán 23 in the hotel, and from 24 to 30 August at the Hotel Cavanna.
