The Center for Social Services has convened free extracurricular activities for students in the municipality of between 8 and 16 years by the second edition of the workshops "Cuentarte", for children 8 to 12 years, and creating for the first time, workshops "Interarte", aimed at children between 12 and 16 years old, to be held during the first semester of this school year.
The purpose of these workshops are held one day a week for two hours in schools, is to offer an alternative leisure-time students from kindergarten and primary difficulties in gaining access to other offers after-school activities.
The workshops "Cuentarte" for students from 8 to 12 years will be held from 16 to 18 hours, but in September will be 17 to 19:00 h.
every Monday at the Social Services Centre Santiago de la Ribera, Tuesday at the Colegio La Paz de San Javier, and Wednesdays in the school of El Mirador.
The activities and workshops include games, storytelling, mime, theater, a puppet workshop and ball juggling and juggling and balance courses.
The workshops "Interarte, which are launched for the first time secondary students 12 to 16 years will be held on the same schedule in the Mar Menor for students IES Santiago de la Ribera and San Javier, on Monday, and Wednesday at the school of El Mirador.
"Interarte" includes a wide range of circus workshops with diabolos, clubs, unicycle, stilts, tightrope, among other skills, as well as percussion and Acrosport trampoline, sports games, and a workshop of breakdance and hip-hop .

The workshops are part of the "socio-mediation project" taking place in schools and Primary Education in the municipality through the Migrant Program Social Service Center of San Javier, and are taught by the group Autopia.
