Payment on receipt of Property Tax, property tax next year will provide news for taxpayers and the reduction of 50 percent for households that have installed systems that use electric heat or solar energy, as reported by Councilman Hacienda, José Angel Noguera.
It also establishes the possibility of deferring the payment of two maturities, and a 0.5 percent bonus payment by direct debit in one term.
The latest additions to the IBI for next year were approved by the last full City that also was established to maintain in force the 40 percent discount receipt for large families, by not supporting the opposition groups the proposed government team on a new bonus scheme applicable in installments according to the rateable value of the property.
Noguera regretted that the opposition did not support this new system of bonuses "that would have benefited more and more families."
The mayor of Finance explained that the predominant section of assessed value that goes from 60,000 to 100,001 euros would have been a bonus 60 percent versus 40 percent who remain in force in all cases.
For homes valued at less than 60,000 euros had been expected a bonus of up to 70 percent, while only 10 points have gone down the houses of assessed value in excess of 200,000 euros.
Noguera added that the proposal rejected by the opposition "is more just and equitable for both families and the whole town, because it only minimally reduced and the subsidy to poor families who can afford homes whose property value, which non-market, over 200,000 euros, while improved and expanded incentives for the vast majority of families that are outside of that section.
