The mayor of San Javier, Pepa Garcia presided over the inauguration yesterday of the new board of the Home for the Elderly in Santiago de la Ribera from now will be chaired by Miguel Garcia.

The Mayor, accompanied by the councilman of Social Services, Maria Angeles Chum, wished success to the Board in its initiatives, and work at the center "that benefits the elderly but also the rest of society."

The new president, Miguel Garcia, who said that "we will not falter in the task of getting the best possible for all partners" will be accompanied by Vicente Hernández de Hoyos, Vice President and Treasurer, Maria Antonia Montero as Secretary, the members, Joseph María Madrid, and Concepción Galindo Amelia Marquis.

The alternates to the new board will be José Rozas, and Mary Castrosin.
