The esplanade of Barnuevo of Santiago de la Ribera host the first Sunday of the month the business 'meeting of the Craft Craftsman' organized by CREA Crafts Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research and the City of San Javier, where Artisans display their pieces and perform live demonstrations between 10:00 and 14:00 hours.
The Director General of Trade and Crafts, Julio José Lorenzo, today this initiative is part of a series of performances that are being developed with the aim of promoting and spreading the crafts of the region as part of measures included in the Plan to Promote Trade 2008-2010, which promotes the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research.
The 'Meeting of Artisan Craft' aims to give its products to the general public, the street leading to the craft with live demonstrations.
Lorenzo noted that "Sunday will be thematic, as each of them devoted to a different craft arrived and will serve to strengthen the economy of the retail and hospitality in Santiago de la Ribera, being an event that raises the attractiveness of many visitors. "
The office will be represented on this occasion jewelry, and artisan Jesús Gómez Alegría, better known as 'stability', will demonstrate crafts.
A dozen artisans displayed publicly sundries and various crafts, such as natural cosmetics, objects made of paper and paperboard, metal art, silver pieces, pottery and ceramics and toys, among others.
Similarly, the exhibition includes a selection of artisanal food products that offer the pork-butchers and cheese makers.

The first meeting, which will take place on May 2, coinciding with the celebration of Mother's Day, with the participation of Arcadio Hernández Campillo and D'Kastro (paper), Jesús Gómez Alegría (goldsmith), Bernardo Blanco López (jeweler), Maria Dolores Saurin Riquelme Quivera cosmetics (cosmetics), John Herrera Hernandez (wrist), CB Piñero & Pi (ceramics); Ascension Martinez Espallardo (painting), Maria Jesús Seguí (silversmith) Tornero Sausages (pork butcher) and Palancares (cheese makers).
